Control Run 1 the most and keep the drift to Run 8 within 10–20 s/km. If your worst run is 7–8, you started too fast.

How does this calculator predict?
A HYROX finish is run + stations + roxzone. The nominal 8km (8×1km) is pure running; the roxzone adds about 6.5% on top.
- Compromised running: in-race runs are 25–45 s/km slower than a fresh 5K (sled & lunge fatigue). We add a level-based offset.
- Roxzone: 32–50 s per transition × 8. Time you can cut without extra fitness.
- Stations: distributed by level & gender from real averages.
